Episode from 5-19-2024
This was the season finale and it also just happened to be an episode that aired on Pentecost. Some people may not know what Pentecost is as even among those who know Christian occasions like Easter and Christmas wouldn’t know about such things like Pentecost. It refers to the event in Acts in which the disciples were able to speak in the native language of what the speakers knew and occurs 50 days after Easter every year. Here’s a good Pentecost hymn.

Now since I had shared my blog on The
Good Wife already, then I might as well share my blog on The Good Fight. This
was a continuation of the story done in a more mature version. I only have the
first season that aired in 2019 posted right now. But I have the second season
on DVD for later. I hope to blog about it at some point in time.

Today’s episode is brought to you by
14 minute delay. I have no idea what caused it, but think that the most likely
answer is golf. The first part has Teddi and Velma calling Colter. (I don’t yet
know which woman is which.) He rejects whatever case they might have offered
him which might have incidentally been the family favor that he wanted to do.
He looks for a missing woman named Katie who is missing from a boat. Reenie
might be quitting something.
The second part has Colter asking
first a cop and then two surfer bros about Katie. Bob has audio of the boat of
Juno where Katie disappeared from with someone approaching them. He finds some
mystery thing that I don’t yet understand.
The third part has Colter realizing
that a body was found by Katie and Dylan, the people that are missing. There is
a rundown building and he had found a body in it that he thinks that they found
and for some reason didn’t immediately report to the cops like I would, but
hope that I’d never have to. Colter comes to the conclusion that this dead body
is the reason why the two went missing with his cop friend of the episode being
told by Colter not to call it in just yet.
The fourth part has Colter at one of
the four houses that a person owns and he jumps the fence only to be confronted
by and assaulted by some people. Bob was able to hack into the place because of
this. Reenie wants to talk to this person and is told to be careful by Colter. Sandy
is the name of the dead person. Reenie talks to Vince about it as she thinks
that he killed Sandy.
Colter is on the phone with Reenie
when he witnesses a secret meeting and has a gun pointed at him by one of the
surfer bros. He admits to having assaulted Katie and tells Colter where she is.
Colter finds her and treats her wound. He attacks those who are after her.
Lizzie, the mother of Katie, is confronted by a cop. Colter calls Lizzie about
having found Katie only to find that the cop has Lizzie.
The fifth part has Colter seemingly
taken captive by his cop friend and put with Lizzie when the evil cop goes out
to where Katie is supposedly. But the tables turn on him as the cop friend can
be trusted. Katie and Lizzie are reunited and okay. Meanwhile, Reenie witnesses
Vince being arrested. He was going to leave the country. If Elementary is to be
believed, that would actually pause any statute of limitations. Of course,
they’d have to have an extradition treaty with us.
Colter refuses money from Lizzie as
they talk. She thinks that her mother and his father were having an affair. He
showed up with a mystery box one day. She can’t think of what else might relate
to that. He gets a surfboard and goes off into the sunset. That is all for this
season. Stay tuned for the next. For now, this is Adam Decker, signing off.
